About MOAA Piedmont
The mission of the MOAA Piedmont Chapter is to serve and support the veterans, the veteran communities and other selected veteran organizations of the tri-county area of Anderson, Pickens and Oconee Counties, South Carolina.
Our Purpose
The purposes of the Piedmont Chapter, MOAA shall be to promote the purposes of MOAA; at both the national and the South Carolina Council of Chapters levels by fostering fraternal relations among retired, active, and former officers of the uniformed services and their National Guard or reserve components, as well as protecting the rights and interests of active duty, retired, reserve and National Guard personnel of the uniformed services and their dependents and survivors. The Piedmont Chapter does this by supporting the M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery, the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, the Clemson University Army and Air Force ROTC programs, and the high school Junior ROTC programs in our membership area.

Our Vision
The Piedmont Chapter’s vision is to continue the Chapter’s shared sense of camaraderie and fellowship while expanding the Chapter’s ability to become a veteran community-focused charitable organization. This vision strives to make a positive influence on the quality of current veteran members and their surviving spouses’ lives, enhance the effectiveness of Clemson University’s Army and Air Force ROTC and the local high school Junior ROTC (JROTC) programs, as well as providing lasting support to our local veterans’ cemetery and veterans’ nursing home.
